From volcanic hills to the great rivers of the Veneto plain: a unique territory to discover, glass after glass.
The International Volcanic Wine Conference, scheduled for June 10 in New York, is an event dedicated to wines from volcanic terroirs, where producers and industry professionals meet to celebrate these distinctive wine expressions. This year’s edition will also feature the Poderi del Doge winery!
Four expressions, one direction:
wines that tell the story of the territory with authenticity, respect, and passion.
Wines born from volcanic soils carry an unmistakable signature: that of the basalts and tuffs of the Colli Euganei, which impart structure, minerality, and a personality difficult to forget.
On the palate they reveal themselves as intense and savory, with vibrant acidity and mineral notes that evoke living rock.
On the nose, smoky nuances and earthy, spicy notes complete an authentic and profound aromatic profile.
From the sparkling bubbles of Prosecco to the structure
of volcanic Merlot: explore our entire selection.
Poderi del Doge was born from the passion and commitment of winegrowers who have preserved for generations the most suitable terroirs of Padua province. The name recalls the centuries-old winemaking tradition of these lands: the fertile hinterland of the Serenissima, between Padova and Venice, where vines have been cultivated since 1400.
A landscape of historic villas, quiet countryside, and sun-drenched vineyards, still valued today through itineraries that unite culture, nature, and fine wine.
