Fior D'arancio DOCG Sweet Sparkling Wine Borgo del Poeta
0.75 l
Hillside vineyards located in the DOCG area of Colli Euganei, in Veneto.
Soils of volcanic origin, characterized by lava decomposition, marl, and limestone.
Approximately 4,000 vines per hectare.
Gentle pressing of the grapes and cold preservation of the must. The sparkling process takes place in an autoclave (Charmat Method) at controlled temperature, halting fermentation to preserve the natural sweetness and aromas of the grape.
On the nose, it bursts with an intense, enveloping, and characteristically aromatic bouquet. The unmistakable notes of orange blossom (zagara, from which it takes its name) stand out, followed by hints of sweet citrus, yellow peach, sage, and nuances of wildflower honey.
Sweet, creamy, and velvety. Pleasantly fresh and savory, it is light and never cloying, with a long, fruity finish.
6.5% Vol.

Wines made from grapes grown on volcanic soils, wherever they are found in the world, exhibit similar organoleptic qualities that are easily recognizable and appreciated: characteristics resulting from the presence of basalt and tuff, the main components of these soils.
Wines of great expressive intensity, with a significant structure and marked savory, acidic, and mineral notes. On the nose, smoky, iodized, and rocky hints emerge.
